About us to where we are now…
Firefly began trading in 2009 – offering intelligent software to transform the way data could be captured, recorded and shared to minimise risk, target resources and predict trends.
Supporting frameworks where our software could synchronise seamlessly with existing systems appealed to the public sector, and our first client was Northamptonshire County Council – they needed a regional portal to allow local authorities to procure the services of 100+ organisations for Tier 2 Consultancy.
Hot on the heels came a request from Lincolnshire County Council who were seeking a flexible system that would integrate different departments. Their feedback enabled us to develop the next generation of software which suited their needs and ticked their boxes. A key selling point was its ability to manage multiple frameworks. Scape approached us at the same time looking to manage frameworks and supply chain as part of their commitment to improve the built environment.
Our vision became clearer. We saw the possibilities across wider platforms so we rewrote the software, making it accessible to multiple clients and multiple frameworks. Our 3rd generation software was now sparking interest amongst supply chain and contract organisations.
The initial team of 2 grew to a team of 12 following major investment in 2013. People started to talk about our software. It won the 2013 National Award for Innovation. It became a sought after robust, scalable solution for organisations like the NHS.
” I am excited by Firefly’s potential. Our software allows all parties to filter the information that’s relevant to them in real time so they can see exactly how their projects are performing. This makes it easier for projects to be managed efficiently and brings wider benefits.
In the next three years, we forecast more than 25,000 UK based organisations will be using Firefly. Your company could be one of them. Talk to us about how we can save time, money and resources for your business. “
